I am happy to feature Nikita and Andrew’s wedding today. I really got to know this couple as I documented their rehearsal as well. They used their Connection Session for this coverage – as Andrew took Nikita to Paris to propose… Yes – that true.
He organized a photographer to capture the proposal as well – and although the lead up to the question being asked was not all that smooth, it all fell into place when she said yes.
Look out for the wonderful details at their reception.
To add to this story, their ceremony was planned to be outdoors at the forks, overlooking the river. We all woke up to a forecast for rain right around the time ceremony was scheduled. And although we all hoped it would not be – the clouds opened up and sent guests running for cover the minute Nikita was to walk down the aisle. Nightmare you might think – maybe for 1 minute it was, but everyone laughed it off, moved on to the Millennium Centre and enjoyed a wonderful ceremony indoors. It all worked out and they have a crazy story to tell.
Here are a few of my favourite frames.
