A Winter wedding at La Lune Wedding Venue in Winnipeg

La Lune Wedding in Winnipeg

Well, the plan was to have an outdoor La Lune Wedding, but mother nature had other plans and in the end, it turned out to be the best plan. We should just open our hearts and go with whatever the day brings you.

The rain turned to snow, the laughter to tears, the tears to smiles, the sitting to dancing and the day into night. It was perfect in every way.

Congratulations Meagan and Jarod. You had an amazing wedding, and I loved being there and capturing it all!

Two beautiful people. A new journey. Love, laughter and warm memories of past adventures and future journeys.

A preview of things to come

I've had a busy last couple of weeks. Busy with the kind of crazy that fills your heart with longing when you think back on it, after a couple of months.

Here is a look at what we have been up to and what will be featured here on the blog in the next couple of weeks.

Photos from a Winnipeg winter wedding at the Fort Garry Hotel | Kayla + Paul

As the sun is getting warmer, the change of season is in the air. Although I am really excited for warmer weather - I do enjoy photographing weddings in the winter here in Winnipeg!

There is just such an element of survival in the air when we run outside, our ears burning, our fingers numb, bridal party looking at me with starved eyes - begging to hurry up so they can warm up... I feel for them - but do secretly enjoy the adventure of a bunch of people dressed for a wedding - walking around in -30C weather.

As Manitobans we are crazy!! But it's fun. For 10 mins or so...

Happy to share the wedding highlights from Kayla and Paul's wedding today. They had a stunning wedding at the Hotel Fort Garry and we were the lucky ones to document their day.
