Most of the time, it’s the most simple of shoots that turn out the be the best.
It’s when we over think things or want to try and re-create images seen on Pinterest that everything comes out fake and over done. I always try my best to focus on the couple, the little things they do, their interaction with each other, the way they touch one another – the uniqueness of them and make that my inspiration board for a shoot.
Like all my couples, Elena and Mark are unique. They are beautiful people alone, but even more so when together. Even though they were sick, we only did one location, and had only about an hour of sun – we got beautiful images. Images unique to them, memories only for them to enjoy.
I am featuring a few of my favourite frames from their engagement session.
